Does anyone experience the following irregularities

mis-behaving text boxes.

missed mouse clicks.

missed enter key strokes.

general repaint sloppy

I am running hg80sr1 on RedHat, Gnome 2.8.0, Linux lnx20300-004 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon Sep 25 17:24:31 EDT 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Does this run on "Wine"

Is there any newer versions of libraries that fix this problem.

Hi,

I'm planning to begin using linux... don't know anything about it at all.

At the moment I'm reading through tutorials on linux.org, but want to know if any of you linux users can recommend good sites / information that you've found useful.

I have an old notebook that I plan to use for messing about with - does anyone know what the minimum hardware requirements would be to begin running Linux?

Basically, any idiot level knowledge that you can provide would be great

Thanks
