Can we give CONDUCTION interface and CONTACT(SLIDE) interface between the elements of two components?

Recommended Posts

For the Contact-based Thermal Analysis you need 2 subcases and couple them. Please refer attached thumbnail for sample tutorial.

In attached tutorial we have used gap elements , instead of that you can define contact and perform contact based thermal analysis.

For more information please refer user guide og contact based thermal analysis. since we have added many new features in latest version of Optistruct.
