Some mistake in meshing

Recommended Posts

Without Periodics the meshing is fine, but I need mesh with Periodics

This is the error, when meshing with Periodics:

What was the CAD file format you imported into AcuConsole? Periodic meshing in AcuConsole works with "real" CAD formats like Parasolid, CATIA. It is not meant for STL file. In your case it seems to be a STL import.

These faces do not have "matching" geometry for some reason. One option here would be to import the CAD files into SolidThinking Inpsire (part of HyperWorks full installation) and export as parasolid. In general the parasolid export from Inspire is robust for AcuConsole.

I had use the Parasolid file format. I have the problem with Periodics meshing.

The another model with the same problem. CAD was built in Hyper Mesh

sector-1gr-100mkr-hm.hm

sector-1gr-100mkr-hm.x_t

sector-1gr-100mkr-hm-001.acs

CAD export from HyperMesh is not always compatible with AcuConsole. As I mentioned earlier, Parasolid export from either a CAD software (CATIA, ProE, NX, etc) or Inspire is the best option of importing CAD file.
