Contour plot for pressure and thermal loads

Recommended Posts

Hi ,  I have large amount of nodal temperature loads applied on the model. Is there any way to visualize the temperature load using contour plots in hypermesh.

Also , incase of  PLOAD cards applied on the elements. Can we visualize applied pressure in hypermesh using contour plots?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Girish,

You can visualize the applied loads but I did not understand what do you mean by contour plots. There is no contour plot panel in HyperMesh.

Hi Girish,

Make sure the load collector is not hidden in which pressure and temperature loads are organized.

Hi Prakash,

I found an option in Hyperworks Engineering Solutions  Aerospace  user profile.

There is an option "Fields" which plots contours.

Can I get more details for using this option.

Thanks

Girish

Hi Girish,

Which results are you looking to plot?

You can use Apply results from Post Process page but it is suggested to use HyperView for post Processing.

I am attaching about Fields fyi

Hey Everyone,

I am also interested to visualize the applied temperatures as contour plot.

Anyway to do this in hypermesh ?

Hi @evsm1982

What is the solver you are using?

If it is OptiStruct, please use OLOAD to output applied temperature load.

Hi Prakash,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I am using Optistruct.

I guess using OLOAD can do the trick but is there any way to do this in Hypermesh without the need for running a solution?
