Sliding mesh analysis

Hi, 

I want to simulate the effect of turbine torque when connected to load (battery). Is it possible to include external torque in sliding mesh analysis (mesh motion = rotation)?

With rotation mesh motion, you input the angular velocity, so there is no effect of the external load/torque.  But with that given angular velocity and wind speed, you can get the output torque/moment from the air on the turbine.

Thanks for the reply.

I just want to compare with the experimental result when the turbine connected to the battery in term of power coefficient, cp. The turbine RPM should slow down when in loading condition. I know another method that user can specify the external torque, mesh motion (rigid body dynamics), but for now, my interest is on the sliding mesh approach. Btw thank you for the reply.
