Anisotropic Dielectric

Recommended Posts

If I define frequency dependent isotropic dielectric's with loss's, if I then use these media as elements of a 3-D anisotropic dielectric tensor, are the loss's modeled? or is only the relative permittivity modeled?

Cheers,

Patrick

Hi pmcardle

Yes, the losses defined for the dielectric will also be included in the 3D anisotropic dielectric tensor definition and correctly modeled by FEKO.

In general, FEKO would give you an error when a certain set of input parameters are not valid or supported for a certain solver or setup.
