Hello,

 

I am working on Bracket for which i have conducted FRF analysis. Now i what to carry out Fatigue analysis for that one at particular frequency before resonance. How can i carry this analysis now.

I have ran the .fem i am facing this error

 

 *** ERROR # 1490 *** in the input data:
 Unexpected continuation card.

This is the new feature in OptiStruct 2017.2.2 .This will run for 2017.2.2 and above version.Latest version is OptiStruct 2018 and latest patch is 2018.0.1

Please share .out file ,if you have used the same version for the run.

No, sir i am working on Hyperworks 14.0

 

I have small doubt that in new version will it show the life of component. Because i could see only damage in that PDF

For Fatigue Analysis solver gives life and Damage output by default.

Damage = n/N = no. of cycles applied/ Total life

There is no example of Random Response Fatigue Analysis in the attached files, I made an example, but it does not work well in Fatigue subcase. The result of Fatigue subcase is blank. Would you check the model for me?
