union between surfaces

I want to join two perpendicular surfaces, each one have a diferent laminate, and I don't know how to do it. I need to use contact surfaces (freeze, stick..)? Rigid elements (RBE2, RBE3)? Welds?

Each surface correspond to a carbon fiber laminate and it would be built as a single piece of carbon fiber. The only thing that it would be diferent between the two laminates (surfaces) is the number of plies.

The two sufaces have a diferent mesh to creat the diferent laminates.

In case of using rigid elements, I have to join element by element during all the edge of contact or there is some kind of operation that do this?

In the other hand, I don't know how it works the contact (freeze). I tried to use it several times to join surfaces and sometimes without having a direct contact between the two surfaces  the program creates an union as if they were welded at a distance.
