Hi,

 

Just wonder if the code for flux3d is written in parallel processing?

Which mean if I install the software in cluster will speed up the computation time?

Only the linear solver Mumps is parallelized, you can have more information from the Flux help.

However, if you have to solve parametric scenario, and you have a lot of configuration, you can use CDE for the distribution. The distribution can be done on your own computer or on a cluster. For instance you vary the parameter A from 0 to 4 by step of 1. For each parameter A, you have time variation from 0s to 0.02s by step of 0.001s. Then you can solve in parallel 5 Flux project if you have enough RAM memory and cores. Note that, the time steps are not parallelized.
